This Toppei Koshirae's design was based on the antique one made in the period
when the Tokugawa Shogunate was falling. The uniqueness of the Toppei Koshirae
is the big metal ornament attached on the Saya end, called O-Jiri.
High quality 100 % cotton Tsuka cord is securely wrapped over a sharkskin.
Comes with a deluxe, silk braided Sageo. Blade, made of a reinforced zinc/aluminum
alloy*, is available up to 2.55 Shaku. Approximately 810 gram without Saya(2.50
Shaku).
Proudly hand-crafted by Japanese swordsmiths in Japan. Because each of
