Hon Koshirae, translated as a professional grade sword, is a great example of the sword craftsmanship for Minosaka Iaito sword series. The wider and thicker blade, made of an reinforced zinc/alumimum alloy, is a replica of Kanbun Shinto sword. The weight and balance are so superb this Hon Koshirae has become the favorite Iaito among Iaido Dan holders. Copper Fuchi/Kashira(authentic Guribori theme) is in antique finished.

High quality 100 % cotton Tsuka cord is securely wrapped over a sharkskin. Comes with a deluxe, cotton braided Sageo. Blade length is available up to 2.50 Shaku. Approximately 1000 gram without Saya(2.50 Shaku). Saya available in Kuroro(black gloss finish) and Kuroishime(black matte finish).

Proudly hand-crafted by Japanese swordsmiths in Japan. Because each of your order is made to order, please allow three to 2 weeks for the production.
