This Shinto Higo Koshirae is based on the legendary Kotetsu sword in Kanbun
Shinto era of Edo Shogunate period. The wide blade is made of sand-casted
zinc/aluminum alloy that gives you the best balance of your Iaido practice.
The Fuchi/Kashira/Kojiri motif features the classic taste of antique-finished
Ishime style. To dedicate this sword to the original Higo style fitting,
the other side of Kurigata on Saya features ICHIMONJI gloss finish.
High quality 100 % silk Tsuka cord is securely wrapped over a sharkskin. Comes with a deluxe, silk braided Sageo. Blade length is available up to 2.50 Shaku. Approximately 1000 gram without Saya(2.50 Shaku).
