The \u003cem\u003ejigane\u003c\/em\u003e is a very well-worked \u003cem\u003eko-itame\u003c\/em\u003e (fine wood-grain), forged so tightly it takes on an almost mirror-like finish. The \u003cem\u003ehamon\u003c\/em\u003e is a \u003cem\u003egunome\u003c\/em\u003e with a soft, misty \u003cem\u003enioiguchi\u003c\/em\u003e, mixing into \u003cem\u003enotare\u003c\/em\u003e around the \u003cem\u003emonouchi\u003c\/em\u003e (the striking area near the point).
