Katana - Mumei(No Signature) - Uchigatana Koshirae - Suriage Nakago - Shinshinto Era
This sword has a typical Bakumatsu style, with a shallow curvature and a wide blade width. The sword is very well preserved, and the fitting ornaments are original and in very good condition. There are a few flaws on the blade, but no hagire. The sword was originally smithed with a longer blade, but was shortened with the suri-age method. It is in the style of uchigatana, with chrysanthemum patterns on the scabbard, fuchi-gane, tsuka-gashira, and kogai. Considering the length and condition of the sword, it is a very reasonably priced sword.
