A shirasaya is a plain wooden handle and scabbard designed to protect and preserve the blade. It is commonly used for storage and appreciation of the sword itself.
We have over two decades of experience shipping Japanese swords worldwide. However, some countries prohibit the possession or sale of Japanese swords by law, so we recommend first checking with the relevant authorities in your country. Particularly in some European countries, air transport may not be permitted, in which case we may ship via a forwarding service.
