Katana - Mumei(No Signature) - Uchigatana Koshirae - Suriage Nakago - Shinto Era - Tokyo 127613
Here is a low-priced katana equipped with uchigatana koshirae, suitable for iai and batto (cutting practice). The katana is a piece from the Shinto period, and the sword blade is shorter than the original due to suriage. The sword itself is in fair condition, but there is a flaw of about 5mm on the sashiura side, about 3cm from the munemachi. There is also a very small dent on the blade about 32 cm from the kisaki that looks like it was struck. Hada has itame mixed with mokume in places, and hataraki such as chikei and yubashiri can be seen everywhere. Hamon is suguha mixed with notare and niedeki. Among the ha are kinsen and aranie, which are active. The tsuba are period pieces from that time, but the fuchikashira, menuki, and kojiri are modern fittings. For some of the flaws, the price has been lowered significantly, making it easier to buy.
