Katana - Mumei(No Signature) - Uchigatana Koshirae - Suriage Nakago - Shinto Era
Although this sword has a few kitae flaws, overall it is well preserved and is recommended for iai and batto use at length, weight, and balance. The Hoso-suguha hamon is very visible. The tsukagashira, made of buffalo horn in the Tensho style, is original, and the menuki are of a running horse motif. The plain and round-shaped tsuba is original. The fuchigane was made in recent years, but has an overall orthodox finish without disturbing the taste of the original. The kuroro scabbard is attached with a cotton sageo. Considering the length, balance, and preservation condition, it is a very reasonably priced sword suitable for Iai and batto.
