Tanto(Yoroidoshi) - No Signature - Shirasaya Koshirae - Ubu Nakago - Shinshinto Era - Niigata 042772
This tanto is called yoroidoshi, which means a short dagger that can pierce through armor. Yoroidoshi were made to stab through gaps in armor when fighting armored opponents, so the blade is much thicker than normal daggers.
The preservation and polishing of this sword blade is excellent, and it is nearly intact. Hataraki such as chikei and sunagashi can be seen on the hada mixed with some mokume of itame. Nie can be seen in the hamon of Suguha, which is notare-like. This is a heavy and powerful dagger. It will be sold at a bargain price, so the early bird gets the worm.
