This rare dagger features Yoroidoshi thickness with a shobu-zukuri structure boasting a blade thickness of 9.6mm, equipped with an aikuchi koshirae including a kozuka.

The overall condition of the blade is generally good; it has been polished and is very clean, though there are signs of use on the edge about 4cm from the tang (especially noticeable on the sashiura side). Additionally, there are black dots on the blade approximately 16 cm from the kissaki on the sashiura side. This is called uchikomi, occurring when iron oxide from the omotegawa side flakes off and mixes into the kawate during forging. The jigane exhibits a beautiful, orderly itame grain pattern, and the yubashiri is clearly visible. The hamon is a slightly wavy suguha with well-defined nie.

The blade is shobu-zukuri with a groove carved on both sides. Furthermore, it features a yoroidoshi specification, where the blade is forged thicker than usual. This design aims to target gaps in armor when grappling with an opponent wearing armor.

The fitting is in the Aikuchi style, with a wooden tsuba featuring dashi-menuki. The scabbard is finished in kuro-ishime lacquer. The decorative metal fittings on the menuki and scabbard are all inspired by Japanese dance motifs, giving them an exceptionally elegant charm. It also comes complete with a daruma-inspired kozuka, making it a fully equipped Aikuchi-style set.
