This piece is a relatively well-preserved sword made in the Shinto period.

There are no forging flaws, chips, or dents on the blade, and overall the sword is very clean, but there is one dot on the sashi-ura side and two small ones on the mune. The jigane is well packed itame, and the hamon has notare with some wide gunome mixed in. Nie is well attached to hamon, and active ashi can be seen in ha.

The koshirae are all modern and newly equipped in January 2025. The tsukaito is tightly wrapped and can also be used for iai.

We have set a very affordable price, so this is the perfect sword for first-time buyers of Japanese swords or for those looking for a sword for iai or test cutting.
