Here is a large and powerful Shinsinto-era wakizashi. It is both wide and thick for a wakizashi, giving it a powerful katana-like appearance. The state of preservation of this piece is extremely good, and both the sashi-omote and sashi-ura sides are very beautiful and clean. However, there are two flaws like sinae on the minne. The well-packed itame hada is characterized by a dynamic midare hamon. You can enjoy the niedeki gnome in the ha. Although this sword is unsigned, the Japanese Sword Preservation Society(NTHK), a non-profit organization, recognizes this sword as the work of Masakage of Gushu, and a certificate of authenticity is included with the sword. Masakage was a disciple of Hokino-kami Masayuki and was the exclusive swordsmith of the Kaziki Shimadu family. It is said that Masakage's sword was the favorite of Jurota Henmi, who was a member of Saigo's army during the Civil War that broke out in the early Meiji period.

This sword with certificate of authenticity is very affordable, so buy it now.
