This piece is an iai sword made in 2010 by Kanehisa, a contemporary swordsmith residing in Gifu. Kanehisa is currently one of Gifu's leading swordsmiths and is especially well known as a swordsmith who makes practical swords.

This beautiful blade is finished with a gorgeous and elegant jukachoji hamon on a koitame hada. The hamon is generally niedeki with some parts raised to the shinogiji, and the boshi is also decorated with a jukachoji pattern in a yakizume-like manner. The blade itself is very easy to handle, as it was made with the intention of being used for iai from the beginning. The koshirae is made of leather tsukite in Uguisu color, so the more you use it, the better it fits in your hand. It also has a high quality Kanshitsu lacquer on the saya.

It comes with luxurious equipment but at a very affordable price.
