This sword was made by Kanenobu of Mino. The blade is in very sound condition but is slightly dull. There is a 6 cm forging flaw in the center of the blade. One side of the blade is slightly cloudy from the tip to about 25 cm. The hamon pattern is a typical Mino style of choji midare, and the grain is itame. The fitting is of the Uchigatana style with a military (Gunto style) scabbard. A Shirasaya is also included for storage.
