Morikazu is a swordsmith living in Satsuma-cho, Kagoshima Prefecture, and his real name is Kazumasa Fujita. This sword is one of the best among his works.
The sword is in very good condition and is suitable for Iai or Batto. There is very minor black rusting on the back side of the blade. The blade was polished for iai, so it does not have a mirror finish, but you can still enjoy the hamon and hada.
The ornament metals of the fittings are modern. The tsuka-ito is tightly wrapped with suede leather. There are rub marks on the scabbard from friction.
This sword is highly recommended as tameshigiri sword.
