This sword was created in October 1985 by Narinori Udaka, a swordsmith living in Hyogo Prefecture. Narinori is a master iai swordsmith who holds the highest title of iaido hanshi 8-dan, and the swords he makes are very popular among practitioners of Iaido and Batto as they are very practical.

The sword was used somewhat in Iai and is in very good preservation condition, although the surface has some rubbing afterwards. The hamon, which is mixed with gunome choji, shows beautifully on the itame hada. The habaki also has a unique pattern that accentuates the beauty of the sword. This is a very affordable sword not only for iai and batto but also for appreciation.

Originally this was only Shirasaya koshirae, but we have added a new option for uchigatana. All uchigatana ornaments are made with modern fittings. The tsuka is made of cotton and wrapped in the hinerimaki method, making it ideal for iai and batto.
