A large Shobu-zukuri dagger made during the Shinshinto period has just arrived.
The condition of preservation is very good, with no defects such as forging defects, chips, or rust. The hada has itame mixed with mokume, which can be clearly seen. Hataraki such as yubashiri and chikei are active and never boring. Hamon is a loose gunome with a variety of hataraki such as aranie, tama, and kinsen. It is a Shobu-zukuri and may be a work of koto restorationism that was popular during the Shinshinto period.
This is a very reasonably priced item, so the sooner you get this one, the better.
