A very rare dagger has just arrived.

This piece is categorized as a tanto, but its size is more like a small dagger. It is also a very beautiful Shobu-zukuri. The shobu refers to the leaves of the iris, and with no yokotesuji and a shinogisuji running from the nakago to the kissaki, it is a weapon specialized for thrusting.

The blade is in perfect condition with no rust or chips. The hada is itame, the hamon is notare, and there is aranie in the ha. The nakago is engraved with Hizen no kuni Tadashi, but since the authenticity is unknown, the price is treated as equivalent to an unsigned piece.

This piece is a must-have, as Shobu-zukuri tantos in beautiful condition and still miniature are hard to find on the market.
