A beautiful, robust O-tantō with it thick, flawless blade (~5mm). It feels hefty but good to handle and the seal script on the habaki is very rare;

New or old, the pine's color doesn't change,
The bamboo has nodes on the top and bottom.
I have the fullest confidence in buying from Tozando Katana Shop not least because of the excellent, helpful service provided by Yusumasa san. Their antique swords always exceed my expectations when I finally see them in the flesh.

Dainty Wakizashi
A beautiful wakizashi with a delicate, flawless, dainty blade. The koshirae are very beautiful with a rabbit motif…quite a few rabbits! The tsuba is more ‘rustic’ and functional, however. The ridged ‘kizamizaya’ is very eye-catching and 3hat attracted me to this modestly-priced wakizashi. The description suggested light scratching on the blade due to regular drawing from the kizamizaya but I really can’t see it at all, so I’m especially pleased and a sign of Japanese perfectionism!
Tozando Katana Shop and especially Yusumasa san as usual, provide the very best customer service and I cannot praise him enough.

Well-Made of Good Quality Oak
I am quite pleased with my bokken. The Hokkaido White Oak is of good quality, the craftsmanship is first rate with sharply-carved lines, and the balance in the hand is correct. Recommended.
