Fujiwara Takada refers to a group of swordsmiths and their works that were made in Bungo Takada (present-day Oita Prefecture) during the Shinto period after the Azuchi-Momoyama period. Swords made in this area during the Koto period are known as Taira Takada, and were a brand of high-quality katana from that time.
