This is a large tachi (sword) over three feet in length and is the work of Yoshimasa, an up-and-coming and promising swordsmith with his whole heart.

Yoshimasa, whose real name is Keiichiro Tomioka, was born in 1983 and originally graduated from Tokyo Zokei University with a major in design, aiming to become a designer. In 2020, he entered his first entry in a contemporary swordsmith contest and his work won both the New Face Award and the Excellence Award at the same time. Since then, he has won numerous awards in numerous contests and is a young swordsmith with a promising future.

This sword is dynamically decorated with a large grain Itame hada with a mixture of large and small Midare hamon. Gnome and choji can be seen in the ha, making it a very impressive piece. The sword blade alone weighs 1,200 grams, making it a powerful tachi full of weight.
