Katana - Masaya - Uchigatana Koshirae - Ubu Nakago - Gendai Era - Gifu 78744

¥500,000

This is a katana made by Masaya, a young swordsmith from Gifu Prefecture, with iai and batto in mind. The overall condition is excellent, with no flaws whatsoever. On the well-packed itame hada, a suguha style hamon with a mixture of gunome and choji is vividly visible. The sword is of a martial appearance with little difference between the width of the moto and the width of the saki, and the boshi is notarekomi. The use of modern Iaito fittings for the Koshirae made the price very affordable. The condition is very good and the price is a bargain. This is an early bird offer!
