Katana - Mumei(No Signature) - Uchigatana Koshirae - Suriage Nakago - Shinto Era - Osaka 133989
A new unsigned katana with Koshirae equipment found in an old family warehouse has arrived.
The condition of the sword is slightly cloudy on the surface due to age, but the hada and hamon are clearly visible. There are no forging flaws or chips, but there are some minor hike scratches. There are also marks on a part of the blade as if something was cut.
The hada is a well-packed itame, and the hamon is a kogunome from kissaki to monouchi, and a sakachoji from monouchi to habakimoto, a very dynamic pattern. In koshirae, the saya and tsuba are of the period, but other than that, modern materials are used. The tsukamaki is tightly wound in the style of hinerimaki. The saya is of the inro kizami type and is tastefully decorated with tamenuri lacquer. Overall, it is very typical of katanas made in the Shinto period.
We are offering this katana equipped with koshirae, ideal for iai and batto, at a very reasonable price, so the early bird gets the early bird offer.
