Tanto - Mumei(No Signature) - Aikuchi Koshirae - Ubu Nakago - Shinto Era - Yamagata 51082

¥290,000 ¥360,000

We are pleased to present an unsigned ubu tanto made around the middle of the Edo period.

This is a very sound dagger with almost no defects, with extremely good preservation and the entire sword blade has been polished. The jigane is a clearly visible itame hada, and you can enjoy the traces of being well forged. Hamon is a niedeki gunome with well-defined ashi. Koshirae is aikuchi style and of the period.

The tsuka is wrapped in beautifully polished sharkskin. The fine-grained ishime-nuri scabbard gives it a luxurious look. The kozuka and kogatana are equipped on the scabbard and are in perfect state as tanto.

Be sure to add this affordable tanto to your collection that will surely satisfy both beginners and veterans of Samurai sword collectors.
