This sword is relatively well preserved, with minor black rusting but no fatal flaws. It has a dynamic Toran hamon on itame jitetsu. Suketaka was a leading swordsmith of the early Shinshinto period, and he often reproduced Tsuda Sukehiro's signature hamon, Toran.
